Bollywood might be the most popular cinema industry in India, but there is no dearth of talent in other film industries of India, especially South. Many movies in Bollywood have been copied from the south and proved to be a blockbuster in Bollywood. Not just films, actresses in the South Indian film industry are also immensely talented and can give a tough competition to the  Bollywood divas.

The list of such South Indian actresses includes Anjali, Asin, Divya Spandana, Meera Nandan and Anushka. Some of these divas have also tried their luck in Bollywood.

Anjali is a South Indian film actress who is known for giving great performances. She has worked in two low-profile films, before she got much-needed fame in in Kattradhu Thamizh (2007). The actress also bagged the Filmfare Award for the Best Female Debutante.

Anushka Shetty debuted in the 2005 in the Telugu film Super and rose to fame following her performance in Vikramarkudu (2006). Later she foryed into Tamil Cinema.
  

Born on 29 November 1982, Divya Spandana aka Ramya has done more than 30 films in South. She is one of the most talented and gorgeous actresses in South.
