Aarya Babbar's parents still can't say the title of his book

Famous Bollywood actor Raj Babbar and famous theater personality Mrs Nadira Zaheer Babbar's son Aarya Babbar has written his first book, 'My Fiancee, Me & #IFu**edUp'. As overjoyed as his parents are, they can't say the title of the book.

According to the sources, Aarya's were thrilled to see him work so hard. They even liked the development of the book, but it's the name that puts them in an awkward spot. Ever since they got to know about the title, they have been hush hush about it.

The book is being published by Penguin and and was announced by Salman Khan at Big Boss 8. His parents are very proud of his new surprising endeavour.

Many people think that the book is based on his life, but that's not the case, or is it? Because the actor was engaged once. The book will be launch on 1st February 2015.


Currently Aarya is working on his upcoming project, Bangistan. The movie is directed by noted film critic Karan Anshuman and stars Riteish Deshmukh,Pulkit Samrat, Jacqueline Fernandez.

The movie is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.

Cops fine society secretary for Farah Khan's loud 50th birthday bash

Complaints of loud music lead police to Farah Khan's rooftop bash, society secretary penalized

The boisterous 50th birthday celebrations of choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan on Thursday night were muted when cops walked into the party that had a generous smattering of stars.

According to sources, the police arrived at Farah's residence at about 12.45 am after receiving complaints of loud music playing at her place.

Subhash Bele, senior inspector of Oshiwara police station, says, "The control room received a call from the society about loud music post midnight. On reaching the spot, we found out it was coming from Farah Khan's house. We have penalised the society secretary for allowing such a noisy party to continue late into the night."


Farah, who turned 50 yesterday, had several top actresses in attendance at her party including Vidya Balan, Sushmita Sen, Tabu, Deepika Padukone, Kangna Ranaut, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit Nene amongst others. Some of the other celebs present on the occasion were Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Shristi Arya, Sonali Bendre, Goldie Behl, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza.

Manoj agrees to do Amit Sharma's short film for free

Manoj Bajpayee was so bowled over by 'Tevar' director Amit Sharma's next script for a short film that he immediately agreed to be on board.

The actor absolutely loved the story about loneliness and the fear of facing the world. When Amit told him he was working on a tight budget, Manoj agreed to do it gratis.

Great content will always go a long way, says Guneet Monga

Guneet Monga, one of the producers of "The Lunchbox", says the movie's nomination in the Film Not in the English Language category of the British Academy Film Awards 2015, is a reassurance that quality content always pays off.

"The Lunchbox", directed by Ritesh Batra, is said to have become the first Indian film since the 1990s "Salaam Bombay!" to be nominated at the BAFTA awards. And this, after the movie was snubbed as India's official entry at the Oscars in 2013.

"We are so happy that our faith in Ritesh and 'The Lunchbox' is paying off so beautifully. It's a film we are very proud of and earning a Foreign Film nomination is yet another reassurance that great content will always go a long way," Monga said in a statement.

The nomination turns out to be extra special for the team, especially as the Film Federation of India (FFI) had, in 2013, chosen Gujarati film "The Good Road" over "The Lunchbox" as India's entry for the best foreign film at the Academy Awards.

"I'd like to say a big thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) jury," added Monga of the banner Sikhya Entertainment.



Jointly produced by multiple studios like DAR Motion Pictures, UTV Motion Pictures, Dharma Productions, Sikhya Entertainment, National Film Development Corporation (India), ROH Films (Germany), ASAP Films (France), and the Cine Mosaic (US), "The Lunchbox" features Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur.

It tells the tale of Ila, a young middle class Mumbai housewife, trying to win back her husband's affections through his stomach and how a rare misplaced delivery in Mumbai's famously efficient 'dabbawala' system of lunchboxes, from homes to offices, connects her to an old widower, through notes in the lunch box.

The movie has been screened at several foreign film galas, including those in Cannes, Zurich, Toronto and London.

Its fate at the BAFTA awards will be determined on the day of the award ceremony, which will be held Feb 8 in London.

Come What May: Sidharth has certain rules to follow

Sidharth Malhotra has been shooting for his upcoming film Brothers for which he has undergone a drastic look change.

While he was not in a shooting schedule during Christmas and New Year, Sidharth had to continue keeping up with his diet and exercise regime.

Sidharth has been essaying the role of a wrestler in his upcoming film Brothers.

Sidharth has undergone an entire look change and has been on a specific diet where he needs to eat in the span of every 3 hours.



He has a stringent 6 meal plan which is high on protein. He has to eat measured portions of meals which include meat, eggs, soya bean, vegetables, paneer.

Infact most of his food is boiled or with minimum oil and herbs.

Sidharth also had an extensive workout regime which he had to follow all along.

Revealed, Read on! Esha Deol cant't speak Punjabi?

As Esha Deol makes her television debut with MTV Roadies X2, she was high on energy and very enthusiastic for the MTV Roadies auditions. For the first time in the history of Roadies that there are 4 judges and all from various backgrounds. The interesting bit is all 4 judges namely, Esha Deol, Rannvijay Singh, Vijendra Singh and Karan Kundra have 1 thing in common - they are all Punjabi.

The twist to the story lies in the fact that Esha Deol, who is the daughter of superstar Dharmendra is a Punjabi. But she cannot speak the language. This whole thing revealed during one of the auditions, when judges were talking in Punjabi and Esha kept mum. Later on, she revealed that she does not know how to speak Punjabi.



During the auditions Esha Deol met a Punjabi contestant and was feeling uncomfortable while talking in Punjabi language. Being Dharam Paaji's daughter it was surprising for the other judges to know this fact.

Radhika Apte lands role in British play

Actress Radhika Apte has been roped in for an untitled British play, which revolves around an Indian woman striving to make it big in London's Broadway shows.

The actress, who auditioned for the role via Skype, is excited to be a part of the play as it gives an opportunity to cross borders and learn things.

"It was a sudden call I got from the theatre company and I flew off within days and now I'm here in London rehearsing for the play. As an actor, I love the fact that I get such opportunities to work with a variety of people across borders and that's what makes being an actor so incredibly satisfying," she said in a statement.



The dramedy is currently in it's pre-production and rehearsal stage and is expected to go out on a three-country tour this summer.

The actress, who will be seen in "Badlapur" and "Manjhi - The Mountain Man", has another connection with London as well. She has studied dance in London.

Ali injured himself during Khamoshiyan shoot

Ali Fazal who essays the lead in Bhatt camp's next release, Khamoshiyaan was demanded to perform some stunts by himself for certain sequences of the movie. In a Climax scene of the movie Ali was put on an aerial cable and was to jump from the first floor in a scene involving Sapna Pabbi.

Unfortunately as the rehearsals warmed up an unfortunate incident took place when Ali was in midst of rehearsing the scene and the cable snapped landing Ali with great speed and inaccuracy to the ground.

The crew rushed to help him and fortunately apart from a tempt oath sprain Ali was saved without any major casualty.Ali Fazal is getting great response from audience for this film and he is hoping the film will be loved by the audiences.

Ayushmann clarifies his exit from 'Udta Punjab'

Actor Ayushmann Khurana is aghast at rumours that he's no longer a part of "Udta Punjab" because Kareena Kapoor, who has joined the cast, didn't want to share screen space with him. He says he couldn't do the movie due to date hassles.

"I didn't do 'Udta Punjab' because our dates were not matching. I had given prior commitments to my films '1911' and 'Hamara Bajaj', and so the dates were clashing.

"It was getting difficult for me to work in all the films together and this is the only reason that I didn't do that project. Besides, I'm open to multi-starrer films," said the "Vicky Donor" star.



Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, "Udta Punjab" features Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, apart from Kareena.

Meanwhile, Ayushmann is also busy penning a book with his wife Tahira.

"My wife is a writer. She and I will be writing a book together soon. I can't reveal the subject of the book right now," he said.

On 41st b'day, friends wish Hrithik 'health and hotness'

Hrithik Roshan, who turned 41 Saturday, has been wished a year full of happiness, good health and more 'hotness', by his friends from the Hindi film fraternity.

After making his acting debut in 2000 with "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai", Hrithik went on to treat his fans with a variety of roles in films as diverse as "Mission Kashmir", "Lakshya", "Dhoom 2", "Koi...Mil Gaya", "Krrish", "Jodhaa Akhbar", "Guzaarish", "Agneepath", "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" and "Bang Bang".

The past year has been tumultous on the actor's personal front as he was officially divorced from his wife of 13 years, Sussanne, Nov 1, 2014. Hrithik and Sussanne had ended their end their 17-year-old relationship via an official statement Dec 13, 2013.

On the work front, his "Bang Bang" managed exceptional business at the box office, crossing Rs.150 crore in India, and took the worldwide box office collection to close to Rs.300 crore.

In 2015, he is looking forward to Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro". He has also reportedly been signed on for Yash Raj Films's next action movie.

An injury-free Kajol is all set to shoot for her next film

Kajol is back on her feet - literally. The actress recently suffered a leg injury and had to go around with a walking stick and a cast.

Now that the injury, too, has healed, the cast and the stick have gone. Kads is all set for her film that will begin next month. It is to be directed by Ashwini Dheer.

Ash has reportedly agreed to do six films!

It's going to be a super busy year for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She begins shoot for Sanjay Gupta's 'Jazbaa' this week. Also, she has given her nod to as many as six films! Her film with Karan Johar titled 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' has already been announced.

She is now waiting for the other filmmakers to make official announcements about her other projects. Ash, we are told, is raring to go and just too happy to be back on the sets.

Bigg Boss Halla Bol: Has Upen Patel replaced Ajaz Khan?

Ever since the day Ajaz was evicted from the Bigg Boss house for being violent with Ali, the grapevine and Bigg Boss fans literally went restless to know the fate of Ajaz and the show. But soon after arrived the two news chunks, where one stated that Ajaz will return to the show, whereas the other maintained that it's self obsessed ex-contestants, Imam Siddhiqui who will be filling up the vacuum created by the exit of Ajaz. But eventually both these grapevine stirring buzz pieces turned out to be mere speculation.

But if recent reports coming from the Bigg Boss curtilage are to be believed then they suggest that, in the days ahead Karishma will have all the fair reasons to be happy about. And that's because the contestant whom makers have finalized to replace Ajaz is none other than KT's good friend Upen Patel, who was evicted just a few days back from the show.

Many of you will feel surprised that why Upen? Then, as per reports soon after the exit of Ajaz from the show, this Indo British bad boy of the house approached the makers and requested them to give him another chance.

It is introspection time for Parineeti Chopra. She has no films on hand and is now weighing the options for her next roles. Her recent films such as 'Kill Dill' and 'Daawat-e-Ishq' did not create any ripples at the box office. Seeing that her contemporaries are racing ahead, this PC is feeling the heat.

There was no question of discomfort with Karan: Bipasha

Actress Bipasha Basu says shooting steamy scenes with Karan Singh Grover in "Alone" was not an uncomfortable experience for her thanks to the friendship the duo had struck up before the shoot.

Bipasha calls Karan a "brat and a chatterbox".

"It's a good thing because all the ice broke on day one. The question of discomfort is not there as you already have a rapport. Both of us had developed a friendship before we went to Kerala to shoot the intimate scenes and the 'Katra' song," she said.

The sensual scenes between the two have raised quite a few eyebrows, but the trailer and the film's songs have grabbed eyeballs before the movie's release Jan 16.


Directed by Bhushan Patel, "Alone" will see Bipasha in the role of conjoined twins. The shooting was tough for her.

"The shooting was difficult as I had to be joined with my body double; first as Sanjana, and after a change of hair and make-up as Anjana. Shooting for 'Alone' was a unique experience as we had to take care of the distances and other technicalities while shooting the conjoined twins," she added.
