Subhash Kapoor to screen Guddu Rangeela for Jolly LLB team

Director Subhash Kapoor, who has directed Guddu Rangeela after winning National Award for his hugely acclaimed Jolly LLB, is going to screen Guddu Rangeela for his Jolly LLB team. Subhash, who has worked with Arshad Warsi even in Jolly LLB, decided about this team union.

Subhash confirms, "Jolly LLB was a dream run for all of us, so I decided to have the first ever screening of Guddu Rangeela for the Jolly LLB team, really looking forward for yet another get together of Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao and others and share Guddu Rangeela with them."

Guddu Rangeela stars Arshad Warsi, Amit Sadh as two bumbling criminals who run an orchestra party. They take on a villain (Ronit Roy) way stronger than themselves which land in a soup. The film is set to release on July 3.

Rishi Kapoor reveals his life ka funda!

Rishi Kapoor may have been in news for his starry attitude at times, even though when it comes to his producers, they swear by his professionalism. But it was while shooting for their film Wedding Pullav when the senior star contrary to his temperamental image pleasantly surprised Ranjan. A source reveals that post the film's shoot in the evening, the two good friends would walk down to a nearby popular bar for a round of drinks, adding, "As is the unsaid rule in Bollywood, being the producer, naturally when the bill came, Ranjan picked up the tab. However, this did not go down too well with Kapoor, who insisted on paying for his own drinks. In fact, he even paid for Ranjan's drink!"



Talking about it, Ranjan says, "After the shoot, we did go for a round of drinks in the evening. And since I was the producer I picked up the tab. This upset Chintu who insisted on paying his own bill saying, "We Kapoors never drink producers' scotch. We always pay for our drinks and never use producers' money for it." I was naturally surprised, because a producer is assumed to bepaying for everything for a star while on a shoot schedule, but Chintu never ceases to amaze. He's a dream to work with for any producer. No wonder the Kapoors are known for their large-heartedness!"

Manoj Bajpayee may not have hopped on the flaunt-your-six-pack bandwagon, but the veteran actor, who "believes in leading a healthy life", says that fitness is "more about exercising daily and eating the right food".

"I believe in leading a healthy life. For me, fitness doesn't mean to have abs or muscular look but it's more of exercising daily and eating the right food," Manoj, 46, said in a statement.

Believing in leading a healthy life, Manoj has always given health a priority. Be it outdoor shoots or day-to-day routines at home, Manoj makes sure to exercise daily and eat healthy nutritious food all day long.

Not many would be aware, but Manoj is such a health freak that some days he even personally cooks nutritious food for his family to keep them healthy. He has also started yoga with his wife Neha in order to get mental peace and physical balance and Manoj likes doing Surya Namaskar since his school days.

"I am not someone who might stay in gym for hours but I certainly believe that one should not ignore his or her health, being an actor it is important that we pay close attention to our health," he said.

The actor will be debuting as producer soon and he has titled his production venture "Missing".

Aditi Rao Hydari takes pride in being a part of a short film "Kanyadaan", which not only touches upon a father-daughter relationship but puts the spotlight on the issue of domestic violence.

The actress says she is glad to be a part of an initiative which addresses such an "important cause".

"Indian weddings are full of joy and excitement... And in all the fun and celebration, families forget to discuss the more important aspects of marriage. It is so important for parents, especially fathers, to teach their daughters to raise their voice against marital abuse," Aditi said in a statement.

The short film, which also features Dalip Tahil, will go live on video entertainment app #fame's YouTube channel on Father's Day, which falls on Sunday.

The "Murder 3" actress feels the virtual platform will give an impetus to the whole issue and reach a wider audience.

"The internet is a huge medium and #fame and Lakme School Of Style have done a great job by using this platform for such an important cause. I'm really happy that I could be a part of it to create awareness and make a difference," she added.



In the clip, Dalip will be seen giving advice to his daughter on taking a stand for the right things in life and on how he would want her husband to respect and value his daughter. He will also be encouraging his daughter to stand up for what is right and fight against what is wrong.

Dalip feels it's a father's duty to empower girls and give them strength to fight against wrong things.

"I believe that every girl child is precious and it's their father's responsibility to protect them and to empower them against any kind of violence and abuse," Dalip said.

Pulkit Samrat is busy shooting in the picturesque landscape of Ladakh for Divya Khosla's upcoming film "Sanam Re".

Pulkit, who shot to fame in films with the 2013 entertainer "Fukrey", took to micro-blogging website Twitter and also shared a selfie photograph with some children from Ladakh.

'Dostana' brewing again between John and Bachchan Jr?

Abhishek Bachchan, who is currently shooting for the third installment of the film "Hera Pheri" with actor John Abraham has praised his co-star.

Abhishek, who has also worked with John in the 2008 film "Dostana" took to photo-sharing website Instagram to share an image of John.

"Mumbai ka Mountain. Sometimes also known as John Abraham. @the_johnabraham #OnSet #HeraPheri3," Abhishek captioned the photograph.



"Hera Pheri 3" also features Neha Sharma, Kay Kay Menon, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. The first installment of the movie was directed by Priyadarshan. The second and third installments are directed by Neeraj Vora.

Now Shilpa wants to give a special surprise to Modi?

Bollywood actress and fitness freak Shilpa Shetty, who has often spoken about the benefits of yoga, says that she would "like to play catalyst" in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative to promote yoga on a global level.

"Modi-ji is taking yoga on such a big level and I'd also like to play catalyst in it. I want people to know that yoga has played such a huge role in my life and I want them to stir towards yoga," Shilpa told IANS.

Shilpa will be attending the International Yoga day celebration on Sunday at Kaneerava stadium, Bengaluru.

International Yoga Day was declared by the UN, and it was driven by Modi's proposal to enhance healthy and better living through yoga.

Shilpa, who has a son Viaan with businessman Raj Kundra, also said that she wants her child to "inculcate good habits".



"I want my kid to inculcate good habits, so he has started off doing some yoga. I hope he continues to do yoga," she added.

Also confirming the news about her book, Shilpa told IANS: "I am writing a book on nutrition. My focus will be on Indian food and how you can lose weight and stay healthy with Indian food".

Shilpa made her debut in Bollywood with 1993 film "Baazigar". She came into the limelight with her dancing moves in the song "Main Aayi Hoon U.P. Bihar Lootne" from 1999 film "Shool". Some of her other acting credits include "Chhote Sarkar", "Dhadkan" and "Rishtey".

Yami Gautam was recently shooting in Ladakh for her next with T Series inspite of suffering from a severe cold stroke.

Due to the extreme weather conditions, the actress was not completely fine and was advised by the doctor to take complete rest. But despite being medically unfit, Yami went ahead and shot for the entire shoot schedule, said a statement.

She did not wish to stall the shooting and she was ready on set before anyone else the very next day as she wanted the schedule to move as planned.

"There was a major altitude difference at pangong lake accompanied by strong winds and snowfall ! The entire crew had to have brandy to keep ourselves warm but despite that I collapsed to cold stroke...," said the actress.

Will Salman's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' get banned in Pakistan?

Indian superstar Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which is about a man discovering love during a journey from India to Pakistan, may release across the border due to its positive message, says a Pakistani film distributor.

Zain Wali, representative of a film distribution company Everready Pictures, said that he is extremely positive about the film's release in the country, reports Dawn.com.

"The film is set to release on Eid and this is 102 percent confirmed. There are no objections in the film and we are confident that it will make it to the cinemas with 'Bin Roye' and other films," Wali said.

The Kabir Khan directorial narrates a story of a Hindu man out on mission to take a young Pakistani girl, who is dumb and mute, back to her country. It chronicles the adventures and experiences he stumbles upon during his road trip.

The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is slated to hit the screen on the occasion of Eid, which is likely on July 18.

Salman's films are popular for gravity defying stunts and 'masala' content. "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" stands true to this image, but also runs high on emotional content.

A slew of Indian films like "Baby", "Ek Tha Tiger" and "Agent Vinod" faced a ban in Pakistan. But Wali says that may not be the case for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".



"The reason censor board raised objections over 'Baby' was because the film painted a controversial picture of Muslims. 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is not against Pakistan and the trailer alone can give a clean-cut depiction of the message it is giving out," Wali said.

Wali points out that though he is positive about the film coming to Pakistan, censor board, will take the last call.

"Most importantly, we have faith that the film will see the light of the day in cinemas. The last stage regarding the release of any film, be it local or international, is the approval from censor board. We are positive that the film will not face any challenges in this regard because we haven't heard anything dubious about it," he added.

Wish I was part of 'Baahubali': Amitabh

After watching the first look of "Baahubali", megastar Amitabh Bachchan felt that some actions and frameworks used in the project can only be seen in progressive Hollywood films. He says he would have been happy to be part of this mega multilingual project helmed by S.S. Rajamouli.

During a video chat with "Baahubali" actor Rana Daggubati, the 72-year-old is seen shared his thoughts, and said that he's simply "amazed and astonished" to see such "magnificent visuals".

"So Rana, I feel very privileged to have seen this first look that you just shown me of 'Baahubali' and I am absolutely amazed and astonished that how you have been able to recreate this magnificent visual and I'm sure of course the story is equally good.

"You are working with Rajamouli and he is such a renowned talent. How did you conceive something like this. It's just unimaginable," Big B said.

The epic film, the Hindi theatrical rights of which have been bought by Bollywood's hit filmmaker Karan Johar, will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, English, French and several foreign languages.

Featuring actors Prabhas Varma, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the lead roles, "Baahubali" is scheduled to release on July 10.

Big B also shares that how he feels really small in front of project like this.



"I feel so small in front of something like this because it's a great effort. I doubt if anything like this have been seen on Indian cinema before and I hope that million and million of people can see this effort that has been made because its truly unimaginable.

"We normally see this kind of structure and this kind of action or whatever the framework is in some of the more progressive Hollywood films but to have to see this here in India is amazing," said the thespian, who feels honoured to be part of an industry that is "inventing and making such fantastic material".

"I should haven been in this project also," he added.

Amitabh is also sure the movie will have a massive audience, and he has wished the film's team "all the very best".

Exposed! Salman and Poonam Pandey share a relationship

Model-actress Poonam Pandey, often touted as the queen of controversies, not only wants to work with Salman Khan, but even draws a parallel between the superstar and herself.

"There is a good connection between us -- he loves taking off his clothes, and somewhere I do too, so I kind of like him for that," said Poonam, who first came into spotlight when she vowed to strip for the Indian cricket team if it won the 2011 World Cup.

"Since childhood and from my school days, I have seen Salman Khan. Every girl loves him and I also love him, honestly," she added.

Poonam is currently preparing for her film "Helen", in which she will essay a dancer. She is even taking dance workshops to lend an authentic touch to her character.

She said that for "Helen", she does not want to do too much of "sleaze".
