Born in Houston, Texas on 4th September, 1981, Beyoncé, turns 33 today.
Originally named as Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, the singer is married to the American rapper Jay-Z, Beyoncé.
The Grammy Award-winning singer started catching the eyeballs of
masses with her very first group Destiny's Child as a lead vocalist. She
soon came up with her solo album ‘Dangerously in Love’ in the year
2003.
The album bombarded the Halo singer with appreciation and set a
benchmark in the music industry with her single hits ‘Crazy in love’ and
‘Baby Boy’. The album bagged her 5 Grammy awards, which was remarkable
for a debutant in Hollywood music industry.
Beyoncé performed the American national anthem in the month of January, 2013 at President Obama's second inauguration. The event created a controversy that she allegedly lip-synced.
Beyoncé's fifth studio album made her the first woman to be at the
no. 1 position on the Billboard 200 with her first five albums.
