Actor Aamir Khan resumes shoot in Ludhiana amid Sena protests

Sena activists on Wednesday protested outside a hotel in Ludhiana where Aamir Khan, shooting for his forthcoming film Dangal, was staying even as police stepped up vigil at the hotel and Dango and Gujjarwal villages.

Activists said Aamir's recent comments at a function had hurt the sentiments of 100 crore Hindus of India.

Ravcharan Brar, senior superintendent of police, Ludhiana (rural), told TOI that strict vigil was maintained at the villages where the film was being shot as well as outside the hotel on Ferozepur Road. Hotel manager Manav Inder Singh Guram said a security guard and a supervisor have been deployed outside Aamir's room and the entry to the floor where he is putting up has been restricted.
