Young designer Kunal Rawal, who designed Shahid's wedding
wardrobe has been inundated with orders for replicas of Shahid's wedding
outfits that he had designed.
Shahid Kapoor's wedding outfits seem to be the hot favourite among to-be bridegrooms as the wedding season goes underway, Shahid-Mira's wedding was one of the most talked-about Bollywood weddings in recent times.
Shahid's much loved attires for all the functions was designed by Kunal Rawal, who has currently being stormed by orders.
The growing number of orders, in fact, has taken Kunal by surprise.
`Audiences, especially Shahid's fans, loved the outfits that he wore during his wedding functions. The designs he had at his wedding, sangeet ceremonyy and reception are in huge demand. Kunal has been receiving several orders and calls asking for the same designs,` says a source.
`Shahid's wedding wardrobe has almost been like a new capsule collection, so it gives a good feeling when it is appreciated. I like my pieces to go with the image of the person donning them. Customising is what I'm doing for grooms this season, just like how I did for Shahid during his wedding.` says Kunal, who is also known to design for Bollywood actors like Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor.
