Bappi Lahiri was fortunate and privileged when his directorial short film "Slumstars of India" produced by Bappa Lahiri was released by the Prime Ministers of 3 noted countries within a fortnight- Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi, Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, Honourable Prime Minister of Nepal Sri Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli by the hand of L.K Advani.
Bappi Lahiri has reached a landmark of composing for 650 films and recent one being "Jai Gangaajal"
"Slumstars of India" has been acknowledged and broad casted by Fox News in the US. "Slumstars of India" has received Best Short Film at the Sydney Film Festival and also Best Short Film at the Rajasthan Film Festival.
Bappi Lahiri composed songs which have been penned by Bharat Ratna Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee which was released by the Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Honourable Shri L.K. Advani.
