The ‘Aashiqui 2’ star Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sharddha Kapoor called it a quit.
Their aashiqui was very short-lived. It all started on the set of the film and
before it could flourish and bloom, the love story meted its end. Aditya and
Shraddha, who were romantically linked and were spotted at various events together
are no longer a couple. They have moved apart and currently focused on their
respective careers.
Aditya Roy Kapur confirmed that he is single and he is happy with his
current status. In a recent interview, Shraddha's rumoured boyfriend confirmed
that he is single and is happy with his relationship status.
"I am single. There is no change in my relationship status and no
complaints either. Being single isn't all that bad as you can be selfish and
focus on yourself and your career. When in a relationship, you are responsible
for another person too. I don't want to commit unless I am absolutely
ready," Mumbai Mirror quoted Aditya as saying.
Rubbishing the report of exchanging rings, Aditya said, "I am not in the
habit of putting a ring on my own finger. People seem to know more about me
than I do."
The
actor is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie ‘Fitoor’ with
Katrina Kaif. The film has an intense love-making scene between Katrina and
Aditya. While Shraddha is busy with her next movies, ‘Baaghi’ and ‘Rock On 2’.
