Katrina skips Ranbir’s ‘Tamasha’ bash to avoid Deepika

Finally, after three back to back flops, Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor tasted success and everybody expected Katrina Kaif’s presence on the D-day of her beau but surprisingly Katrina gave the party a miss and the reason best known to all. As far as possible, Katrina Kaif tried to maintain a safe distance from Ranbir’s ex-flame and actress Deepika Padukone and she has done the same for ‘Tamasha’ party as well.

To avoid crossing path with Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif gave ‘Tamasha’ success bash a miss despite the event was very important for Ranbir. Ranbir tasted success after a long gap and everybody expected Kat but she shocked all by giving it a miss.

Many Bollywood celebrities came together to celebrate the film's success at a suburban nightspot on Monday night, even Ranveer Singh came down to support his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone but Kat made a no show.

Meanwhile, gossip mills churned that Katrina was invited for the event but she chose to skip it.

A source says, "Since Ranbir is finally tasting success after a few box-office failures, everyone expected Katrina to be present to share the happy occasion with him. Also, this could have been a chance for both Deepika and her to overcome the awkwardness."

However, a source close to Katrina maintains, "She was invited, but could not make it as she was shooting for a brand endorsement till late night."

Before Ranbir started seeing Katrina Kaif, he dated Deepika Padukone for some period. Ranbir and Katrina met on the set of ''Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahini' and love blossomed. The couple moved in together last year.
