Do you know it was love at first
sight for Ranveer Singh? Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s alleged love
story is a matter of great interest for the fans. The couple stands by each
other in every situation of life; still they hesitate to speak about their
relationship in public. In few occasions, Ranveer Singh bares his heart about
Deepika but the latter has been always protective.
During the promotion of ‘Bajirao
Mastani’, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone revealed when and how they saw
each other for the first time. Deepika said that she saw Ranveer on-screen in
the ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ trailer and her reaction was like “Who’s this guy? Why
so much energy?” while the actor saw his ladylove for an award
event and immediately fell for her.
On the other hand, for the ‘Lootera’
actor it was ‘love at first'. He says that he saw Deepika for the first time at
the Zee Cine Awards in a silver dress and he was flat.
After he had made this confession, a
fan on twitter asked Ranveer, “@RanveerOfficial Recently you said you saw
@deepikapadukone at zeecineawards wearing a silver dress at Macao. How can u
remember this well?”
And what he replied, will definitely
floor you. He wrote, “@pp_punjabi @deepikapadukone how can one possibly forget
that sight!? #dropdeadgorgeous #5YearsOfRanveerSingh”
In an interview with Times Of India, Deepika also expressed
her feelings for Ranveer Singh, "I know he (Ranveer) will never hurt me or take me for
granted. That is the kind of trust and understanding we have. The reason I love
and respect him is that I can bare my soul and still feel comfortable. If this
is divine connection - this is what it is!"
Ranveer and Deepika will be next seen in ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
While Ranveer plays the role of Bajirao, Deepika is seen as Mastani, Bajirao's
second wife.
Deepika speaks about her expectation from ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
"The success of Bajirao Mastani is of course important for me but
then that is regarding every film, be it big or small. It would be incorrect
for me to say that Bajirao is more important than my other films. My
hard work and hope for every movie is same. The only thing that changes with
every film is that I try keep to better myself. That has been my only aim as an
actress," she said.
