Aamir in awe of Sunny Leone's 'grace, dignity'

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan on Wednesday spoke out in support of actress Sunny Leone, who was at the receiving end of harsh questions about her professional choices in a TV interview.

During the promotional TV interview with CNN IBN anchor Bhupendra Chaubey, Sunny was asked that while she would like to work with Aamir Khan, but would Aamir Khan like to work with her.

Sunny faced it sportingly, and it is this spirit that has impressed Aamir.

"I think Sunny conducted herself with a lot of grace and dignity. I wish I could have said the same about the interviewer," Aamir tweeted.

Sunny acknowledged Aamir's support with a re-tweet, which read: "I think my heart just dropped seeing this! Thank you so much for the support. It means the world and beyond to me."

Sunny, who made inroads into Bollywood with "Jism 2", is awaiting the release of her new film "Mastizaade". It is to promote this sex comedy that she went in for the interview with Chaubey.

The interview was tagged as "disgusting and sexist" by a string of celebrities, who expressed support to Sunny.

Some of the questions asked were: There are lots of married women who look at Sunny Leone as a threat to their husbands, do you not care about all this?


A member of parliament, in his speeches, has held you responsible for corrupting Indian morality. How do you deal with that?

She was even asked: If Sunny Leone is becoming brand ambassador of New India, is that a dangerous trend to have?

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who features in "Airlift", has starred in a video titled "I'm An Indian", in which he urges the youth to go beyond armchair activism and to be the change they want to see.

The video "I'm an Indian", released digitally by Culture Machine's Being Indian, sees Akshay talk about how a majority of people restrict themselves when it comes to making a change by conveniently participating only in armchair activism.

Sana was mentioned in the complaint filed by a follower of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who alleged that an act on TV's programme "Jashn-e-ummeed" had hurt the religious sentiments of the community.

Actors Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Rajeev Thakur, Puja Banerjee, Munna Rai and Gautam Gulati were the others mentioned in the complaint.

"I think this is very wrong and very weird for not just Kiku. It was wrong that they took him from here to another place. It's just stupid. It's good to have followers but being a follower and doing this kind of things is very wrong. Eventually, we also follow god, this doesn't mean that whenever we do something wrong, somebody is going to come and take such actions," she said.



"We have to be a little reasonable. Even Ram Rahim ji has said it was not him but his followers who have done it. So I hope his followers try to bring some humour in their lives. Life is not all that serious, so please bring humour and if you don't have it, let the humour of others be with you," she added.

A few years ago, a case of kidnapping and intimidating a girl had made headlines when Sana and her boyfriend were booked. But later the girl was arrested for cheating the duo.

Delhi court to hear complaint against Salman, Shahrukh

A lawyer has filed a criminal complaint against Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan and a TV channel after the two actors were allegedly shown wearing shoes on the set of a temple.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate V.K. Gautam listed for January 22 the complaint filed by Gaurav Gulati, who sought action against the two actors on charges of hurting religious feelings.

He told the court that he noticed on a YouTube post dated December 15, 2015 that the actors wore shoes on the sets of a Kali temple while shooting for a reality TV show. An idol of goddess Kali was seen in the backdrop, he said.

The plea also sought action against the producer and director of the reality show and the TV channel.

Actor Akshay Kumar has wished newly wed couple, actress Asin Thottumkal and electronics company Micromax founder Rahul Sharma, a happy married life, and said the duo are "made for each other".

Asin, who is a popular name in Bollywood and the southern film world, exchanged wedding vows with Sharma in a closely-guarded ceremony on Tuesday.

When Sonam landed on gunpoint

Courage is looking fear right in the eye, and that's just what Sonam Kapoor does in the first poster of Bollywood film "Neerja" -- an upcoming biopic on valiant flight attendant Neerja Bhanot.

Sonam shared the poster on Twitter, and wrote: "And here it is: The first poster of #Neerja. So proud! Film out on February 19."

Sonam's character is seen being held at gunpoint, but she is seen standing with an undaunted streak, staring at the attacker whose face is yet to be revealed.

The debut poster, which reads 'Fear gave her courage', also features an airplane cabin full of people and an armed hijacker.



The Ram Madhvani directorial features Sonam as Neerja Bhanot, a Pan Am chief purser who was gunned down by terrorists when Flight 73 was hijacked in Karachi in 1986. She saved a lot of lives while losing her own.

Third pregnancy is 'fun' for Liv Tyler

Actress Liv Tyler, who is expecting her third child, finds the experience "fun".

Although she was "tired" because she had a "little cold", the actress recently beamed on the arrivals carpet at an awards ceremony here, reports eonline.com.

She said: "It's amazing. It's so fun. I feel very grateful."

The third child will be her second with fiance Dave Gardner.

She has already seen how wonderful son Milo (whose father is the actress' ex-husband Spacehog rocker Royston Langdon) is with his little brother Sailor, who turns one next month.

"They're so sweet. It's so fun," Tyler said. "My older boy is 11 and it's so sweet to see him with Sailor because there's a big age difference and he just absolutely adores him so much."

Tyler hinted that they already know the sex of the baby, but she laughed and said she was keeping it a "surprise" for the public.

She announced the pregnancy on Instagram on January 8 with a black and white photograph that shows her holding her belly.

I might be bipolar: Charlie Sheen

Actor Charlie Sheen thinks he has bipolar disorder.

The "Anger Management" actor says various medical experts have warned him he could suffer from the condition - which typically sees sufferers experience bouts of both depression and manic behaviour - and he thinks it could be responsible for some of his battles with addiction.

Sheen admitted "I might be bipolar" on "The Dr. Oz Show" on Monday, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"I've been described or diagnosed by enough people that I guess at some point you have to take a look at it...Manic behaviour is usually in the throes of departing substance abuse and drinking," said Sheen.

"It doesn't really happen when I'm not doing that," he added.

But the 50-year-old says he has never viewed his mood swings as a problem.

He said: "They've always seemed normal to me. I've just accepted it as part of my make-up.

"I don't look at it as mania, I just look at it as the very... interesting universe."

Sheen - who announced in November he is HIV Positive - is unsure whether he wants to take medication for bipolar disorder but would "consider" it.

He said: "What else is it going to 'fix'? I would certainly consider (taking) it, sure."

Singer Miranda Lambert surprised her fans with a brand new song "Sweet by and by".

The track was recorded by the country superstar for producer Dave Cobb's upcoming compilation album "Southern Family", reports aceshowbiz.com.

After lots of speculations about the movie being shelved,Gauri Shinde’s upcoming film starring Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan has begun shooting from Wednesday, January 20.

Sometime back, there were rumours that the film might get shelved due to creative differences between the ‘English Vinglish’ director and Karan. However, the Dharma Productions honcho cleared the airs and stated that the principal photography of the movie will begin from mid-January, 2016.

"@gauris film with @iamsrk and @aliaa08 commences principal photography middle of January! Pre production is on full steam now! Exciting," Karan had tweeted.

The film will be Gauri’s second directorial venture after the highly acclaimed ‘English Vinglish’ which marked the comeback of Sridevi after a gap of 13 years.

The untitled project is said to be a woman-centric film which narrates the journey of a young girl played by Alia, who falls in love thrice and learns a new life lesson each time she walks out of a relationship.

Shah Rukh will be seen playing an extended cameo in the film which has three male leads. The makers have kept the names of the lead actors under wraps, but it is known that one of them is from the South Indian film industry.

Alia will be the youngest actress to romance King Khan on screen. In an interview to a leading daily earlier this month, she revealed that she is a huge fan of the actor and is both excited and nervous about working with him.

The film is being co-produced under the banner of Karan’s Dharma Productions, along with Hope Productions and Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

Big B, Priyanka replace Aamir to be ‘Incredible India’ new face

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and versatile Priyanka Chopra have been roped in for ‘Incredible India’ campaign. The duo was directly appointed by the Central Government unlike Aamir Khan who was hired by McCann Worldwide agency for ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ campaign, a contract which was given to the agency by the government.

Big B and Priyanka Chopra were signed by the government after their three-year contract with the ad agency expired. They did not renew the contract with the agency. After the intolerance row, centre wants to rope in a 'non-controversial' figure to replace Aamir and they find Big B the best replacement. Priyanka Chopra's international fame impressed the center to rope her.

Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra will not charge a penny for the three-year contract for the campaign. The official announcement will be made after January 26.

"Amitabh Bachchan was the first choice of the ministry for the job," reports India Today quoting a source.

Big B is also the brand ambassador of Gujarat Tourism.

Aamir Khan was replaced after the contract end, “Our contract was with the McCann Worldwide agency for ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ campaign. The agency had hired Aamir for the job. Now the contract with the agency is over. Ministry has not hired Aamir,” tourism minister Mahesh Sharma said at the time.

“Whether I am brand ambassador or not, India will remain Incredible, and that’s the way it should be,” the ‘Dangal’ actor said after replacement.

Katrina may not visit Salman’s ‘Bigg Boss’ for Ranbir’s sake

Bollywood lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been in the news recently for their break-up, but it turns out that the couple has not officially broken up. It was only a usual lovers’ tiff which may have been stretched a bit too far by Ranbir.

When the couple fought this time, Ranbir left their live-in pad and went to stay in his other apartment and is in no mood to reconcile with his girlfriend. But Katrina is trying her best to mend the cracks in their relationship, according to a Midday report.

The break-up rumours were further fuelled when Katrina and her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan were spotted at the same party, just a day after the reports of their split came out. And if sources are to be believed, Salman is the reason behind Ranbir and Katrina’s disagreement.

According to reports, Ranbir was miffed with Katrina for commiting to promote her upcoming film ‘Fitoor’ on the sets of reality show ‘Bigg Boss 9’ which is hosted by her ex-lover Salman. She is supposed to appear the grand finale of the show. When Ranbir’s film ‘Tamasha’ released in November last year, he skipped the promotion on ‘Bigg Boss’ and his co-star Deepika visited the show alone. Ranbir expected the same from Katrina, but her professional commitment over her personal life irked him.  

In an attempt to save her crumbling relationship with the Kapoor scion, Katrina has reportedly decided to forgo promoting ‘Fitoor’ on ‘Bigg Boss 9’ despite having already committed. The actress has also informed the producers that she wouldn't be able to make it since she has other commitments, a source from the show said.

Quoting a source close to the production team of ‘Fitoor’, the tabloid stated, "Katrina feels ‘Fitoor’ is a special film for her and so, she wants to go all out to promote it. The plan comprised visiting the sets of TV shows including ‘Bigg Boss’. But Ranbir was not in favour of her being part of a show where Salman would be present. He had skipped going on Bigg Boss during the publicity campaign of ‘Tamasha’ while his co-star and ex-flame, Deepika Padukone went alone. Recently, they had a huge fight over her committing to go on the show. So, Kat has now reconsidered her decision to placate her beau."

Another reason for the couple's tiff is attributed to the delayed schedule of Anurag Basu's ‘Jagga Jasoos’, in which they have been paired together. It is also Ranbir's first venture as a co-producer. "He wanted her to join him for a weeklong schedule at Mehboob Studio in Bandra. Since both ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Jagga Jasoos’ have the same film studio on board, Ranbir felt sorting her dates would not be a problem. But she wanted to focus solely on Fitoor till its release. That upset him since the project has been already delayed and postponing the schedule would have made it difficult for them to release it this June," according to a source.

It is expected that the lovebirds will soon be back together as Katrina is doing everything to hold on to the relationship.

Bigg Boss 9: Imam Siddiqui asks Rochelle-Keith to get engaged on TV

He tells Keith that he was coming across as completely spineless and advises him to be emotionally stronger. He also warns Mandana not to misbehave or abuse him. He also coins names for the housemates to suit their personality. He names Keith as Dominique, Rochelle as Maria, Mandana as Manesse, Priya as Priyanka and Prince as Bravin.

Bigg Boss introduces a task called ‘Imam Khush Hua’ in which the housemates have to please their guest and abide by whatever he asks them to do. Known for his bizarre fashion style, Imam decides to give a makeover to the housemates. The housemates don stylish costumes and colourful wigs and the house is turned into a fashion ramp.

Imam asks Rochelle to convince her boyfriend Keith to propose her on the show. Rochelle asks for time to think and after discussing with Keith says that since Kieth has not yet met her parents personally, it might not go down well with her family. Keith is also given the task to propose Priya and he goes into his acting mode to propose her and makes Priya blush.

Priya and Imam also have a small tiff when Imam accuses her of making a rude comment against him during a conversation with Kawaljeet Singh. Prince also gets into an argument with Imam after the latter asks him to keep Punjabi slangs in Punjab. Both later apologise and make up. He reveals to Prince that he has given a secret task to Mandana to flatter and lure Prince.

Deepika to romance Irrfan Khan in Bhansali’s ‘Gustakhiyan’

 

After ‘Piku’, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan again teamed up together. The couple is coming together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next project, titled, ‘Gustakhiyan’. The film is based on the real-life romance of literature giants, Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam.

Irrfan Khan will play the male lead protagonist poet Sahir Ludhianvi while Deepika will step into the role of an author Amrita Pritam’s role. Earlier, Priyanka Chopra was roped in to play author Amrita Pritam’s role but it is learnt that Priyanka Chopra walked out of the project.

“Since Priyanka got along very well with Gustakhiyan producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, reports of her playing Amrita Pritam were taken to be authentic. But the truth is, Priyanka is not doing Gustakhiyan,” says a source.

“After Piku where they played a tentative couple, Irrfan and Deepika would get a chance to do a full-fledged romantic film. It would be a terrific follow-up. On the other hand, Irrfan and Priyanka have only done Saat Khoon Maaf together which was a dud at the box office,” ads the source.

Well, it is highly expected that Deepika and Irrfan will again spark on-screen chemistry.

Rape accused actor Vishal Thakkar still missing

Police could not trace actor Vishal Thakkar, who was accused of rape by his alleged girlfriend till date. In October last year, Vishal was charged with rape and cheating case by a 26 year-old television actress.

Popularly known for his role in 'Munna Bhai MBBS', 'Chandni Bar', Thakkar was booked under IPC sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), 323, 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

The victim had alleged that Vishal raped her in his house.

"We both are close friend and were also in a live in relationship from last few months. Thakkar sexually assaulted me several times making false promises to marry me. However, I left his house after unable to take the ordeal and insult he did on me increased", victim said to police.

According to various reports in the media, the actor went missing since January 1, 2016 with there has been no traces of his whereabouts.

It is also leant that the couple sorted out their differences and the actress also withdrawn her complaint but still Vishal is underground as he could not digest that his image was tarnished and now he would not get any more work due to rape controversy.

He was last seen on December 31, 2015 with his girlfriend. He had gone out for a movie with his girlfriend and never returned home.  The report was confirmed by none other than Vishal's mother who also added that due to the ‘rapist’ tag, her son went into depression and was hiding himself.

Salman Khan case: Mumbai police points out lapses in probe

 

Almost a month after Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was acquitted in the 2002 hit-and-run case by the Bombay High Court, the Mumbai police has issued a circular to all police stations in the city highlighting the lapses in the investigations that led to the legal defeat in the case.

The circular was sent on January 4 by Additional Police Commissioner (Crime) K.M.M. Prasanna. The circular lists 16 lapses among the several procedural lapses and discrepancies in the police case which the Bombay High Court mentioned in its judgment that quashed the case against Salman.

It is meant to serve as a guideline for police personnel for investigation of accident cases in future, especially those involving high-profile personalities. Senior officials from the city police have asked other officers to learn from the mistakes in the Salman Khan case and ensure that such lapses are not repeated in future.

Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government has decided to appeal against the High Court verdict in the Supreme Court.

The 16 points listed in the circular are as follows:

1. Bills were collected from Rain Bar in Santacruz, where the prosecution had alleged that Salman Khan drank liquor, without due certification under Section 65 (B) of the Evidence Act.

2. Bills of JW Marriott Hotel and parking tag were seized by the police but were not shown in the panchanama, creating doubts about the evidence regarding where the actor went after leaving Rain Bar.

3. There are handwritten endorsements on the computer extracts in the bills of Rain Bar, but no evidence was collected as to who took the said endorsements, and how.

4. The actor was available from the morning of September 28, 2002, for medical test at the Bandra police station, but he was only taken to JJ Hospital in the afternoon for blood sample collection.

5. While the blood sample of the deceased, Narula, was taken at Bhabha Hospital, why was the actor's blood sample collected at JJ Hospital? No explanation was given.

6. Though the blood samples had come on September 28, 2002, to the Bandra police station from JJ Hospital, they were sent to the Forensic Laboratory in Kalina only on September 30, 2002. Till then, they were kept in the police station where, the court had said, they might have been either tampered with or not stored properly.

7. A chain of custody of blood samples was not properly established and because of the missing link, biological evidence was not trustworthy.

8. Statement of the constable who brought blood samples of accused from hospital to police station was not recorded and he was not examined.

9. Important anomaly - 6 ml of blood extracted from actors body in two containers, but FDL received only 4 ml of blood.

10. Receiving clerk of FSL not examined.

11. The investigating officer did not verify the medical papers while collecting them. Blood collection reports shows many discrepancies and defects, which were admitted.

12. No charge under Section 66 (i) (b) of the Bombay Prohibition Act was framed.

13. In two places, the FIR was altered, but no explanation was given.

14. Under Section 161, statements were not recorded of witness. Nobody says Salman was driving the vehicle.

15. The defence had said that the tyre had burst, which was the reason of the crash but the tyre was not sent to the forensic laboratory to deny their claims.

16. Actor Kamal Khan was not summoned to the trial when his address was available with cops though he could have been a great witness for the police.

Aditya Roy Kapur gifts Pashmina shawl to Katrina Kaif

Aditya Roy Kapur gifted his ‘Fitoor’ co-star Katrina Kaif a beautiful Pashmina shawl. ‘Fitoor’ was shot in extensively Kashmir and Aditya purchased the shawl when he shot in Kashmir with Katrina for Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’.

The ‘Aashiqui 2’ actor bought the gift for Katrina Kaif as a token of gratitude and during the shoot the on-screen couple had also discussed about this.

“Aditya personally selected the pashmina shawl that he gifted to Katrina,” the film’s spokesperson said in a statement.

The shawl is said to be 100 percent pure Kashmiri pashmina and is hand-embroidered.

‘Fitoor’ also stars Tabu in the pivotal role and is slated to release on February 12.

Hotel fined Rs 25,000 for Hrithik’s loud birthday party

Hrithik Roshan’s 42^nd birthday party invited trouble for the hotel. The Four Seasons Hotel in Worli which organised his lavish birthday party was fined for Rs 25,000 for playing loud music till the wee hours in the morning. Despite repeated complaints from the south residents about the noise, the police did not take prompt action.

When south Mumbai-resident Ashraf Khan was passing by the hotel at 1.30 am, he heard loud music.

“Several cops were stationed at the hotel gate for bandobast but they did nothing to stop the loud music. I asked the cops on bandobast whether the party had special permission to continue late into the night, but the cops denied this. They said they had been posted there as several big celebrities were attending the bash,” said Khan, who rang police and made the first complaint at 2 am.

For half an hour later, when the police did not arrive, Khan made another call to the police control room at 2.30 am. “I made another complaint to the Worli police station at 2.45 am, then again at 3 am, but the Worli cops too did not come to the spot to stop the loud music. Cars had also been parked haphazardly, creating a traffic jam,” Khan recalled.

“I made the final call to the control room at 3.05 am, and ten minutes later, the cops finally arrived at the hotel, two hours after I made the first complaint. The entire time, the party continued without any hindrance,” he added.

However, a senior official from the Worli police station denied there had been any negligence and said, “We had already gone and fined the hotel manager R12,500 once at 1.30 am. When we got the complaint, we went back and fined the manager the same amount again. This time, the party came to an end.”

However, Hrithik’s spokesperson denied such incident. “Some people had crashed the party and when they were sent out, one of them made the police complaint,” said the source.

When mid-day contacted the Four Seasons hotel, they said, “Regarding the parking of cars on a public road, that cannot be controlled by the hotel.”

Bollywood rumoured lovers Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra shed their inhibitions and hugged each other tight at the calendar launch of fashion photographer Dabboo Ratnani. The duo is believed to be dating each other, but they have never opened up about their alleged relationship.

The ‘Student of the Year’ co-stars attended the calendar launch held in Mumbai on Tuesday, January 12. Alia and Siddharth arrived separately, but as soon as they met they broke into a long, sweet embrace.

Though the rumoured couple have never proclaimed their love for each other in public, the young actors are often spotted together sneaking in and out of various gatherings. However, unlike their previous outings, the duo didn’t seem to have any qualms getting close and posing for the media. They appeared quite comfortable in everyone’s presence.

Alia and Siddharth are working together for Karan Johar’s ‘Kapoor and Sons’ which is scheduled to release this year. It is expected that the lovely couple will be seen together on more occasions when they come to promote the movie.

Directed by Shakun Batra, ‘Kapoor and Sons’ also stars veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and Pakistani hunk Fawad Khan. The romantic-comedy revolves around two brothers played by Siddharth and Fawad, while Rishi Kapoor will be playing their grandfather. Actors Sanjay Dutt and Amrita Puri are also cast in the movie.

‘Kapoor & Sons’ which went on floors in May, 2015, is set to hit screens on March 18, 2016.

Meanwhile, celebrities like Shraddha Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Sunny Leone, Athiya Shetty, Kriti Sanon, and Parineeti Chopra were present at the calendar launch. Kim Sharma, Aditya Thackeray, Javed Jaeffery were also spotted.

Amitabh Bachchan spotted playing football with kids

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan who is shooting in Kolkata for his upcoming film ‘Te3N’ took some time off on Tuesday, January 12, and indulged in a game of football with kids.

Big B was shooting some scenes for the film at the famous Mohammedan Sporting ground where he was spotted playing soccer with kids. He entered the ground at 7.45 in the morning and spent the entire day in the premises of the Mohammedan Sporting club.

The ‘Piku’ actor was sporting a striped T-shirt and black trousers and was seen sitting in the gallery, the club tent and the ground. Known to be a left-handed person, the actor was seen having fun kicking the ball with his left foot.  

The actor also wtote about it on his official blog. "And earlier in the day … my weak efforts at football during the shooting .. nostalgic in a way .. for these were the football grounds of the major clubs when I visited Calcutta on a private visit with my parents in 1960 .. that we came to watch football games .. Mohan Bagan, Mohammedan Sporting, East Bengal et al," he posted.

The Mohammedan Sporting Club which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, felicitated the legendary actor and presented him an honorary life membership of the Club. The iconic Club also invited the ‘Shehenshah’ of Bollywood to be the chief guest of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations to be held later this year.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Te3N’ also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, while Vidya Balan also makes a special appearance in the role of the cop. The film is produced by Sujoy Ghosh and is being directed by Ribhu Dasgupta who has previously directed Big B in television series ‘Yudh’.

Ex-Miss World Diana Hayden gives birth from frozen egg

Former Miss World and actress Diana Hayden became proud mother of a baby girl born out of an egg she froze eight years ago. Diana reportedly gave birth to Arya on Saturday, January 9, at the Surya Mother and Child Hospital in Santa Cruz, Mumbai.

Arya’s birth is proof that egg freezing which was considered technically difficult until a decade ago, works and could liberate woman from the constant worry of the ever ticking biological clock.

Diana learnt about the egg freezing technology when she was 32 way back in 2006 and took the wise decision of freezing her eggs. She froze 16 eggs between October 2007 and March 2008.

“I froze my eggs for two reasons; I was busy with my career at that time and, more important, I was very clear that I was going to wait to fall in love and marry before having a baby,” the 42-year-old beauty said in her interaction with a leading daily.

"A career woman need not think about her biological clock and get pressurized into getting married earlier than she wants to or have a baby when she isn't ready," she added.

Diana got married to American Collin Dick in September, 2013. The couple learned that Diana suffers from a condition called endometriosis which results from the appearance of endometrial tissue outside the womb. It makes difficult for women to produce quality eggs. That is when Diana and Collin decided to attempt a test-tube baby and thaw Diana's frozen eggs.

Arya weighed 3.7kg and was 55cm long, while the average weight and length of newborns in India are 2.6kg and 48cm. Diana and Collin’s bundle of joy Arya is a marvel of the new age medical technology. Her birth is sure to instil a ray of hope and optimism in many woman who want to wait for the right moment to become a mother, be it for professional reasons or for being with the right partner.

Kiku Sharda of ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ arrested

The popular comedian Kiku Sharda, best known for his character Palak on TV show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda. He has been booked for allegedly mimicking Dera Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and hurting the religious sentiments of his followers.

Kiku hurt the sentiments of the Singh’s followers by posing the self-claimed godman in an episode of ‘Comedy Night With Kapil’, which was aired on December 27, 2015. Miffed with the episode, the followers filed case against Kiku.

Kiku has been sent to 14 days judicial custody. The actor also apologised after the arrest.

Apologizing for his act, Kiku called himself a ‘god fearing man’ and clarified his act wasn’t meant to hurt anybody’s sentiment. “I apologise if my act has hurt anybody's sentiment. I never want people to get hurt because of my work,” he said.

Kiku Sarda also took to social media and with joining hands he apologized for his wrong#Doston the act on TV was not to hurt anyone's feelings. My apologies to @Gurmeetramrahim ji and his followers. Let's spread happiness

Kiku further added, "I respect religion and rituals. I respect all Gurus. I'm a god fearing man. It was just an act which was done with the intention to make people laugh. Channel also edits what they consider cannot be aired."

Haryana Police arrested him from Mumbai. On December 31^st, Kiku was booked under Section 295 A of the Indian Penal Code (outraging religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious belief).
