Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan who is shooting in Kolkata
for his upcoming film ‘Te3N’ took some time off on Tuesday, January 12, and
indulged in a game of football with kids.
Big B was shooting some scenes for the film at the famous Mohammedan
Sporting ground where he was spotted playing soccer with kids. He entered the
ground at 7.45 in the morning and spent the entire day in the premises of the Mohammedan
Sporting club.
The ‘Piku’ actor was sporting a striped T-shirt and black
trousers and was seen sitting in the gallery, the club tent and the ground. Known
to be a left-handed person, the actor was seen having fun kicking the ball with
his left foot.
The actor also wtote about it on his official blog. "And
earlier in the day … my weak efforts at football during the shooting ..
nostalgic in a way .. for these were the football grounds of the major clubs
when I visited Calcutta on a private visit with my parents in 1960 .. that we
came to watch football games .. Mohan Bagan, Mohammedan Sporting, East Bengal
et al," he posted.
The Mohammedan Sporting Club which is celebrating its 125th
anniversary this year, felicitated the legendary actor and presented him an honorary
life membership of the Club. The iconic Club also invited the ‘Shehenshah’ of
Bollywood to be the chief guest of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations to
be held later this year.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Te3N’ also stars
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, while Vidya Balan also makes a special appearance in the
role of the cop. The film is produced by Sujoy Ghosh and is being directed by
Ribhu Dasgupta who has previously directed Big B in television series ‘Yudh’.
