The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate
Middleton shall arrive in India on April 10. The two will be a part of a
charity gala in the nation. Hosted by the British High Commission, in
partnership with The British Asian Trust, the gala will raise funds for
three charitable organisations-Magic Bus, Doorstep, and Childline.
Apart from this, what’s interesting about their stay in India is that they'll also be a part of a Bollywood bash in Mumbai.
It’s said that the two who will be staying at Taj Palace Hotel in
South Mumbai will be seen as the guests at a charity event on the day of
their arrival, for which a gala reception and dinner is being hosted in
their honour. Who’s who from the B-town will be a part of the do.
Shedding more light on the same, a source has been quoted by a publication saying, “Most of the invites have been sent out to the Hindi film industry's A-listers, including Shah Rukh Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. Several businessmen, politicians, cricketers and socialites are also expected to attend. Ranveer Singh whose shooting schedule on a foreign location coincides with the event, is also trying to work out his dates.”
At the mega do, the duo will be served with some lip-smacking Indian delicacies. Also, musical performance by Baby Doll singer Kanika Kapoor has been scheduled.
