Probably a year back no body would have thought in his or her remotest dreams that life of this bubbly beauty of Indian small screen popularly known as Anandi of Balika Vadhu will have such a sad end. Death of Pratyusha has emerged as a big shock for each and everyone belonging to her fraternity.

If rep[orts are to be believed then Pratyusha took the extreme step due to issues in her personal life As per reports was planning get married to her alleged beau Rahul Raj Singh but in the recent past equations between two literally landed in turmoil.



Pratyusha became a household name after she played the character of Anandi for small screen program Balika Vadhu. Eventually her fame touched new horizons after her appearance in controversial reality show Bigg Boss. Reports further suggest that the actress attempted suicide in her house earlier on Friday by hanging herself. She was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai's suburban Andheri where she was pronounced dead.

UPDATE: Rahul Raj Singh has allegedly absconding and has Pratyusha Banerjee's phone with him. He has also switched off his own cell phone. 

 

According to sources, he was allegedly involved in another relationship with a girl called Saloni. She had a physical altercation with Pratyusha Banerjee few days ago and it is being reported that she is also somehow involved. Pratyusha Banerjee had a mark on her face after the fight and even broke her leg.

 

In a shocking turn of events, television actress (Balika Vadhu fame) Pratyusha Banerjee attempted suicide earlier in the day today as she hung herself at her apartment in Kandivali. She was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital, where she was declared 'dead on arrival'.

 

Police and the hospital have confirmed it and the report also suggests that the actresss committed suicide at 12:45 pm. She hung herself from the ceiling fan in her apartment.

 

With more updates coming in and her co-actors speaking up about her, things have started looking a bit more complicated than what initial reports suggested. It is now being said that family and friends of Pratyusha Banerjee are suspecting foul game.  

 

Talking to Elijaz Khan said, "I doubt that Pratyusha has committed suicide. I had met her on Holi and she was a changed person. She never came across as depressed. She will never commit suicide," 

 

"Pratyusha was very close to me and she wanted to get married. In fact, she had asked me to make a peach colored lehenga with red duppatta as her bridal wear. I can't believe she is no more with us," said Rohit Verma

 

Initial reports suggested that she was facing a turmoil in her love relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh who was allegedly cheating on her. She came to know about it and was already in depression.

 

According to Mumbai police spokesperson DCP Kulkarni, her boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh was questioned by the police.

 

Apparantly, this is not the first time that the actress tried to commit suicide. It is being suggested that she had attempted suicide during her last relationship as well with her ex boyfriend Makrand Malhotra.

 

She even posted a status on her WhatsApp account a few days ago which read "Mar ke bhi munh na tujhse modna." 

 

 

 

Some sources are also suggesting that she was in severe debt and had no work. 

 

According to her WhatsApp account she last checked her account at 12:34 pm which is minutes before she hung herself.

  

 

She rose to fame with Balika Vadhu and then was seen in Bigg Boss Season 9. She was last seen in Sasural Simar Ka.

 

In the last month she had also accused 8 men of posing as cops and molesting her.

  

 

While the family is inside the hospital several TV actors also arrived at the hospital after the news broke.  

 

Shashank Vyas (her Balika Vadhu co-star) has also reached the hospital. He was spotted with Jay Soni and Karanvir Bohra.

TV stars Eijaz Khan and Karanvir Bohra were spotted outside the hospital premises. 

 

Ratan Rajput also arrived at the hospital after being informed about the incident.
