Shahrukh Khan is not only a big star
but he also possesses a great heart. King Khan has donated one crore for the
floods victims of Chennai. His production company Red Chillies Entertainment in
a letter to CM of Tamil Nadu has expressed his concern about the flood affected
areas of the state and at the same time wrote about his contribution.
The whopping amount was contributed to
the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund of Tamil Nadu. The letter says that,
"The team of Red Chillies is deeply affected by the devastation wrecked on
the city of Chennai by the fury of nature. We appreciate the massive effort
undertaken by your government and everybody in Chennai and we hope our
contribution will help in some way."
In the wake of record breaking
downpour in Chennai, several homes were devastated and many lives were lost. Superstar
Rajinikanth has contributed Rs 10 lakhs while Singam star Suriya has donated Rs
25 lakhs.
While actors Allu Arjun and Mahesh
Babu contributed Rs 25 lakhs and Rs 10 respectively, Baahubali actor Rana
Daggubati has launched a campaign called ‘Mana Madras Kosam’ to help the flood
victims.
On the
work front, Shahrukh Khan will be next seen in ‘Dilwale’, ‘Raees’ and ‘Fan’.
