Cricketer Sreesanth made a public appearance after quite a long
time. The star cricketer has been receiving lots of brick bats for
playing dirty during the IPL. Sreesanth has been trapped in the match
fixing controversy and hence was in the hiding, only to surprise
everyone by visiting the famous Lalbaug Cha Raja yesterday.
Says a source, “Sreesanth visited Lalbaug Cha Raja to seek
blessings of the almighty, such that he comes clean out of the match
fixing case against him. The case might reach to its conclusive end by
the end of this week.”
Talking about the scenario straight from the venue, Waahiid Ali
Khan, CMD of Shaawn Group says, “People went berserk looking at
Sreesanth standing amongst them. There was no negativity as such
(because of the match fixing case), in fact they were busy taking his
autograph. Even the police there was asking him for autograph and
pictures.” Khan further adds, “After the Lalbaug visit, Sreesanth who
was accompanied by his wife later visited the Siddhivinayak Mandir.”
Here's looking at a few more pictures from the venue where Smita
Thackeray and Waahiid Ali Khan accompanied Sreesanth and his wife.
