Actors are known to have private swimming pools in their
apartments, but Salman Khan being Salman Khan, he rather created a pond
at his residential place. Only, the pond was not for Khan’s pleasure but
for everybody’s favourite Ganpati bappa! To be more precise, the actor
this year took the route of being eco-friendly and created a makeshift
pond in their building complex, Galaxy Apartments for the immersion.
A source who’s been to the Khan’s house for darshan says, “Last year,
when Salman was taking Lord Ganesha for the immersion, a couple of the
family cars got damaged as people thronged for a closer glimpse of the
superstar. Some even got on top of the cars while they were parked
outside the visarjan venue. The source further adds, "Since Salman was
in Canada on the day of visarjan, he was worried about his family's
security and therefore came up with this idea.” It is also being said
that henceforth, the family may prefer to perform the immersion in the
artificial pond as it saves them from the unnecessary chaos.
