Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra will
begin the shooting of ‘Kal Kisne Dekha’ in London from September.
A source told Mumbai Mirror, “A unit went to London for a recce in May and the location
was locked recently. The film will be shot in London, amongst other
international locations, and is slated to release mid-2016.”
It is also buzzed that the role of
male lead was initially offered to Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan but finally
Sidharth bagged the coveted role. The film helmed by Nitya Mehra is a
love story which travels through time. In the past Nitya had worked on the
Indian series of two Hollywood projects- Mira Nair's 'The Reluctant
Fundamentalist' and Ang Lee's Oscar winning film 'Life Of Pi'.
Sidharth is quite excited to work
with Katrina and revealed in an interview that he has seen Kat’s movies in college
and hopes that he doesn’t’ look like a junior on-screen. The mature love story will see flashbacks and present day.
Preparation for the film is going on
full swing and in two months the team will fly off to UK. This
time travel adventure was supposed to go on-floor in April but pushed behind
due to Katrina’s prior commitments. London location has been locked and the
film will also be shot in different foreign locations.
