Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt
turned 56 on Wednesday. The actor who is currently lodged in Yerwada jail was
visited by his wife Manyata and sister Priya Dutt on his birthday. Manyata was clad
in a yellow salwar kameez and accompanied by her sister-in-law Priya who was
wearing a black salwar kameez.
The ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ actor is
serving his sentence following his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts
case for illegal possession of weapons. He is likely to get released by the end
of this year.
Sanjay, born on July 29, 1959 to
actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis, made his Bollywood debut in 1981 with the hit
film ‘Rocky’. Since then he has given a number of hit films like ‘Naam’, ‘Khalnayak’,
‘Saajan’, ‘Thanedaar’ and many others.
Meanwhile, Sanjay’s friends and
colleagues in the film industry wished him on his special day and said they
were eagerly waiting for him to come back.
His co-star from ‘All The Best’
Ajay Devgn tweeted a picture of him with Sanjay and wrote, “A very happy bday
to my elder brother, waiting for you to come.” ‘Baahubali’ actor Rana Daggubati
and Esha Deol also posted their photos with the actor and wished him. Rana
wrote, “Wish the coolest and the toughest of them all a very happy birthday!!
The SanjayDutt!! Waiting for you sir!!” while Esha’s tweet read, “Happy
birthday Sanju sir ! ??u loads always a fan of u.”
Bollywood’s ‘Mr India’ Anil
Kapoor wrote, “Happy Birthday to the original stud @duttsanjay You'll always
have our love and support, waiting for you to come back!”
Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha tweeted, “The
last one away from home brotherman. Happy Birthday Sanjay Dutt!!!”
Shilpa Shetty’s entrepreneur
husband Raj Kundra with whom Sanjay collaborated to launch the martial arts
tournament ‘Super Fight League’ also wished him, “A very happy birthday to my
brother @duttsanjay missing you bro. You will be with us very soon.
@maanayata_dutt.”
Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, Milan
Luthria, Sophie Choudry, Ali Fazal and others also wished the actor on his
birthday.
