Rahul Mahajan and Bigg Boss fame, Dimpy Ganguly gets married to Dubai-based
businessman fiance Rohit Roy on November 27 at an uptown hotel in Kolkata. Dimpy
got married in a traditional Bengali style. A friend of the bride shared a
beautiful picture of the wedding venue.
Two days before the wedding, Dimpy Ganguly enjoyed
bachelorette party with her close buddies. At the party Dimpy wore a pretty pink
and black off-shoulder dress and pearl jewellery. She posed for the camera with
a beautiful smile.
The 30-year-old actress earlier said that she is anxious and nervous about
her second marriage and added that she is optimistic about her future.
“I am very happy but anxious and nervous at the same time. These
fleeting feelings can’t be defined, Yes I am enjoying the present situation of
courtship and optimistic about future,” Dimpy said.
Dimpy has gone through a failed marriage with Rahul Mahajan. The duo married
on the national television on ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega’ show and then broke
up with Rahul after she accused the latter of domestic violence.
Rohit and Dimpy were seeing each other for two years. They are totally
in love and decided to take their relationship to the next level. Rohit
runs an event management company in Dubai. Dimpy’s engagement news was
confirmed by Sushant Divgikar who was also part of the reality show. He told a
leading website, “Yes, Dimpy has got engaged. Rohit is a very good guy and I
wish both of them a very good luck. I have a secret special gift for Dimpy on
her wedding which she will cherish her entire life,” reports International
Business Times.
Dimpy shared the photo of her engagement ring early this month and
captioned, “He asked and she said “it’s ’bout damn time! ” #engaged”. Rohit
proposed the Bong beauty with the sparkling diamond ring from Tiffany and Co.
Dimpy shared the photo on Instagram. Dimpy also thanked her well-wishes for
their good wishes.
Dimpy rose to fame when she married Rahul Mahajan on the national TV. The
couple were happily married for some time but then problem cropped up.
Dimpy accused Rahul of domestic violence. Both got divorced mutually. The
divorce was confirmed by Rahul in a Facebook post in February.
