Basking in

The festival is celebrated each year fifteen days post Diwali, in the
holy city of Varanasi.
Sonam shared a picture of the event and tweets, #About to celebrate Dev Dipawali! She
was clicked with her mom Sunita Kapoor and some friends at Varansi. It is believed that Gods descend to
earth to take a dip in the Ganges on this day. As a part of the celebration,
the steps Ganga ghats are lit with millions of diyas (earthern lamps) in honour
of Ganges.
The beautiful
site at Varanasi ghats can be seen every year during Kartik Poornima

went on for 15 minutes!” The actress also shared a picture of the illuminated
ghats. Thanking Varanasi she wrote, “Thankyou #Varanasi for the beautiful
