Popular Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan who has also worked in Bollywood
and other regional film, was seriously injured after his vehicle overturned on Thrusday
night. The accident happened while shooting for a film in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer
district.
The actor, who was shooting for Telugu film titled ‘Supreme’,
was filming a stunt sequence and was driving the jeep at high speed when it
overturned. Ravi Kishan suffered fractures near his neck and left hand and was
rushed to a private hospital. The actor had reportedly met with an accident on
Wednesday also, but had a narrow escape.
Ravi later left for Mumbai to consult a specialist following
which the shooting was called off for the time being.
Four other assistants- Sheshu, Shivnarayan, Manu Ravishankar
and Kunal, who were also in the jeep also sustained injuries after they got
trapped under the vehicle. They were also taken to hospital for treatment.
Ravi Kishan has previously worked in Telugu films like like
Allu Arjun's ‘Race Gurram’ and Ravi Teja's ‘Kick 2,’ The actor plays the main
villain in ‘Supreme’ starring Sai Dharam Tej and Rashi Khanna, which is being
directed by Anil Ravipudi. The shooting of the film has been going on for past
some days at Sam-Kanoi area in Jaisalmer.
He
has also appeared in Bollywood films like 'Luck', 'Raavan', 'Welcome to
Sajjanpur', 'Dangerous Ishq' and others. He will be next seen in Sunny
Deol's 'Ghayal Once Again'.
