Amy Schumer's emotional struggle

Actress and stand-up comedian Amy Schumer got emotional on a TV show while talking about her father who has been battling multiple sclerosis. During an interview, the actress opened up about her ailing father.

"He's not good. Some days he's really good and he's with it and we're joking around. And some days I go to visit my dad, and it's so painful. I can't believe it," Schumer said.
The illness is a disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord. It has no cure. The 34-year-old actress was only 12 when her father was diagnosed with it.
"He was in physical pain. That's when I kind of took the lead and took care of everybody in my family. I would keep them... I would keep everybody laughing. I'm the one who ties it all together," she said.
