Pregnant Rani Mukherji is still resting
in hospital. She has extended her stay in the hospital following some
renovation work in the house. To stay away from dust and dirt, Rani has
made
hospital her home. She will remain in the hospital unless the renovation
work gets done. Rani and Aditya’s baby is due in January and the highly
excited soon-to-be
parents is quickly doing up with the baby’s room.
Aditya Chopra, who is highly looking
forward to the D-day, is most frequently making rounds of the hospital. Rani
Mukherji, who is going to delivery her first child in January, was admitted in
Hinduja Hospital in Khar since mid-November soon after Diwali bash. The Diwali
celebration took a toll on the heavily pregnant Rani. She is doing fine but preferred
to stay some more time in hospital due to the on-going renovation work.
However, a close friend of Rani
told 9xe that there's no reason to worry. "Rani is fine; she has been
advised bed rest and has decided to rest it out in the hospital," said the
friend.
"Their house is undergoing renovation work and it isn't advisable for Rani to stay there for the time being. So she is staying put in the hospital," added the friend.

There were also floating rumor
that Rani has already delivered her first child but it is learnt that there is no
truth to this report. Rani is expected to fly abroad to deliver her baby.
Rani
being too much traditional will have both Bengali and Punjabi style baby
shower in December. Her mother-in-law Pamela Chopra who is highly excited to welcome a
newborn at Chopra residence after 42 years is making all preparation.
