Rumours were rife that Bollywood actors Pulkit Samrat and
Yami Gautam, who are starring in upcoming films ‘Sanam Re’ and ‘Joononiyat’,
are dating each other. Their alleged affair was also speculated to be a reason
for Pulkit’s separation from his wife Sheweta Rohira.
Pulkit and Shweta parted ways in November last year. Shweta
had said that she has decided to move on and Pulkit’s personal life doesn't
concern her at all and that she is not aware of what is going on in his life.
However, in an interview with DNA recently, Shweta claimed
that she knows her husband very well and Yami was the last person he would want
to be involved with. She further said that Pulkit didn't want to do films with
Yami and that he has acted with better actresses.
“Eight years ago, he had done a music video with her and at
that time he wasn’t even talking to her. Yami always had her eyes on him, but
Pulkit never had the hots for her,” she told the publication.
She said that Pulkit didn’t even want to do ‘Joononiyat’ and
‘Sanam Re’ when the films were offered, but she convinced him to do them. She
added that when Pulkit was offered ‘Sanam Re’ they were planning to get
married, and she asked him to do it as a wedding gift for her.
Shweta said she loved
the trailer of ‘Sanam Re’ and Pulkit was looking hot as usual. She also
appreciated director Divya Khosla Kumar for shooting it beautifully.
She has no bitterness for Pulkit and believes that
everything is temporary.
