CBI has filed charge sheet of Jiah Khan’s suicide case at Mumbai Session court and Sooraj Pancholi, has been allegedly charged with abetting
suicide of Bollywood actor Jiah Khan. Sooraj has been accused of hiding facts
and fabricated information during questioning.
The forensic analysis, which is part of charge sheet filed
by the agency of 26-year old actress has "established that Sooraj was
concealing relevant information about actual reason behind the incident and the
statement given by him is incomplete and fabricated," claimed CBI sources
while giving details of the charge sheet filed before a special court here.
During interrogation, Sooraj refused to divulge his last
argument with Jiah. Son of actor Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, Sooraj also refused
to be part of any scientific tests like polygraph or brain mapping.
Jiah Khan and Sooraj Pancholi met in September 2012 through
Facebook and love blossomed. Over a period of time, they became too intimate, the
charge sheet says.
On the same unfaithful day, Jiah and Sooraj had a heated argument
and both exchanged unlimited text messages and also called each other innumerable times. Frustrated
with Jiah’s continuous SMSs and calls, Sooraj switched off his mobile.
The three page note recovered by Mumbai Police on June 10, 2013 written by Jiah narrated the physical abuse and mental torture she received at the hands of Sooraj which abetted her suicide. The charge sheet claims that excessive mental torture led Jiah to take this extreme steps.
