Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are back together as
friends after ending years of cold war between. The duo who mesmerised audience
with their films ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Hum Tumhare Hain
Sanam’, are once again reuniting on the small screen to recreate those magical
moments.
The two superstars relived their ‘Karan Arjun’ moment when
Shah Rukh visited Salman’s hit reality show ‘Bigg Boss 9’ to promote his
upcoming film ‘Dilwale’.
Shah Rukh and Salman shot for a promo as a build-up to the
much anticipated episode in Karan-Arjun style. The foes-turned-friends appear
as Karan and Arjun in a dramatic set-up of a temple with bells swaying behind
them. They take the opportunity to tell the entire nation what lies in their
heart, according to a statement from Colors channel.
Shah Rukh and Salman tell each other that they have not
forgotten certain things that went wrong between them. Shah Rukh says everyone
one wants to know what exactly is in their hearts. Salman introduces himself as
‘Prem’ saying he loves everyone, while Shah Rukh also says he is a ‘Dilwala’
and his heart too is filled with affection for everyone.
The superstars were also seen reminiscing their good old
days while often breaking into peals of laughter wheenver the actress Rakhi’s
popular dialogue ‘Mere Karan Arjun aaenge’ (My Karan Arjun will come) from the
1995 film was played, the statement added.
The duo not only revisited a moment from their hit film, but
also created the magic of friendship anthem ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge’ from
the 1973 blockbuster film ‘Sholay’. Just like Jai and Veeru in the film, the
actors came on stage riding on a bike with sidecar attached. Shah Rukh rode the
bike, while Salman was seated in the sidecar.
Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra who played
the roles of Jai and Veeru respectively in the film, also recreated the moment
when Dharmendra visited the sets of Big B’s show ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’.
The episode of ‘Bigg Boss 9’ featuring Shah Rukh will be aired
on December 19 and 20 at 9 PM on Colors. Earlier, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon,
who also star in ‘Dilwale’ visited the show to promote the film which hits
screens on December 18.
