Celebrity couples who welcomed babies in 2015

The joy of becoming parents is unbound and it is one of the things a couple experiences. Their child is the symbol of their love and union and makes their bond even stronger. Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra recently became proud parents of a baby girl. The couple got married in April, 2014 and welcomed their bundle of joy Adira one and half years later on December 9.

Mohit Suri and Udita Goswami

Filmmaker Mohit Suri and actress Udita Goswami were blessed with a baby girl on January 2, 2015. The couple tied the knot on January 29, 2013. Mohit’s uncle director Mahesh Bhatt took to Twitter to make the happy announcement and wrote, "Mohit Suri and Udita have received a gift from the Gods! A baby girl has just descended from the 'skies' into their life.” Udita also made her Bollywood debut with Mohit’s cousin Pooja Bhatt’s directorial ‘Paap’.

Nawazuddin and Anjali Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui who shot to fame with his role as a CBI officer in ‘Kahaani’ became a proud father of a baby boy for the second time on May 19, which was the actor’s birthday. His wife Anjali gave birth to the baby in her hometown in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In a statement, the thrilled father said, “I am happy to become a father for the second time. We haven’t thought of a name yet. I am just too happy. It’s going to be a double celebration in the family from here on. I am glad the baby and my wife are safe.”

Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva

Actor Vivek Oberoi and wife Priyanka Alva was blessed with their second child - a daughter on April 21, 2015. They already have a two-year-old son Vivaan Veer. The couple got married in October 2010. Confirming the news, Vivek said in a statement, "We are happy to announce the birth of our baby girl. Our family is now complete. Daughters are very special and Priyanka and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our baby girl into the world today. Both mother and the baby are doing fine and I'd like to thank everyone for their wishes."

Sameera Reddy and Akash Varde

Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy tied the knot with businessman Akash Varde in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony in January 2014. The actress met Akash, co-owner of a company that designs customised motorcycle during a commercial shoot and dated for almost two and half years. The couple welcomed a baby boy on May 25, 2015.

Ahana Deol and Vaibhav Vohra

Bollywood ‘dream girl’ Hema Malini and veteran actor Dharmendra’s younger daughter Ahana Deol gave birth to a baby boy on June 12, 2015. Ahana tied the knot with Delhi-based businessman Vaibhav Vohra in February 2014. Ahana met Vaibhav at sister Esha’s wedding in June 2012. The new of her motherhood was broken by the baby’s grandmother Hema on Twitter, “Thk u all for ur good wishes. Yes Ahaana has delivered a baby boy & we are all so thrilled! Mother & baba are fine.”

Omi Vaidya and Minal Patel

Actor Omi Vaidya who played the role of Chatur Ramalinga aka Silencer in Aamir Khan starrer ‘3 Idiots’ became a proud dad when his wife Minal Patel delivered a baby boy on June 24, 2015. The couple got married in August 2009 and it is their first child. The actor had also shared a picture of him holding his little one.

Aamna Sharif and Amit Kapoor

Popular television actress Aamna Sharif and film producer-distributor Amit Kapoor welcomed a baby boy on September 14, 2015. Aamna's mother-in-law, Shabnam Kapoor broke the news to media saying, “The mother and baby are both doing fine. We have called him Arain.” The couple got married in December 2013 and it is their first child.
