Shyam Benegal's films to be screened on his 81st birthday

Shyam Benegal turns 81 on December 14.

To mark the occasion, a retrospective of his films is being held in Mumbai.
The festival will kick off on his big day along with actors, writers, editors and costume designers he has worked with over the last 35 years.
The fest will showcase 14 films of the doyen in the parallel cinema genre such as 'Ankur' (1974), 'Manthan' (1977), 'Junoon' (1979) and 'Welcome to Sajjanpur' (2008).
