Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra recently shared pictures
of her fitness photo shoot and the ‘Ishaqzaade’ girl does look sizzling in her transformed
avatar. Although she may have said that it was to shed her chubby look and
portray herself as a strong and confident girl, reports are rife that the photo
shoot was a part of her audition for ‘Sultan’.
‘Sultan’ which has two leading ladies in the film, has not
announced any actor as yet, but several names were doing the rounds, including
Parineeti. Having worked for Yash Raj Films productions like ‘Kill Dil’, ‘Dawat-e-Ishq’
and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, the actress was almost finalised by ‘Sultan’
producer Aditya Chopra. However, Salman Khan apparently, did not think she
would fit the part, and therefore, the actress did the photo shoot to prove her
capability.
“Parineeti Chopra knew about ‘Sultan’ since a long time.
After ‘Kill Dil’ she had decided to get fit and lost a lot of weight. She
wanted to be a part of ‘Sultan’ and when she heard that she may not make the
cut for the film, she worked extra hard,” a Bollywoodlife report quoted a
source close to the film as saying.
This photo shoot that she released now was actually done for
the audition of ‘Sultan’ and to prove that she can play a wrestler. However, things
didn’t materialise, the source added.
Recently, Parineeti tweeted that she is not a part of ‘Sultan’.
“Guys, I am not doing Sultan, please put all rumours and speculations to rest
and let me announce my next film when the time is right,” she had posted on the
micro-blogging site.
The names of actress Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon also
cropped up as the female leads of ‘Sultan’, but Deepika has denied doing the
film.
‘Sultan’ has already gone on floors and is slated to release
on Eid next year. a
