Superstar Salman Khan was finally acquitted of all charges by
the Bombay High Court in the 13-year-old hit-and-run case on Thrusday, December
10. His family, friends and fans were thrilled when the verdict was out, and
his rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur was among them.
The Romanian beauty was in India and had visited Salman and
his family at the actor’s residence a day before the judgement to give them
support. The next day, when the court freed Salman, his fans broke into
jubilation, but Iulia broke down with relief, according to a report in
Bollywoodlife.
"Iulia feels a lot for Salman, but being from outside
India she doesn't know or understand the laws of the country. She was praying
since morning for him to be acquitted and as soon as she heard that he is a
free man, she broke down. She was happy but got very emotional and broke
out," the report quoted a source close to the actor.
Iulia was not present when the sessions court convicted and
sentenced Salman, but she was by his side for the High Court verdict, the
report added.
Salman love affair with Iulia has been doing the rounds for
a long time. Some time ago, there were also reports about their engagement and
impending marriage. However, the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor’s little sister Arpita
Khan denied the reports on Twitter.
The dou was also spotted together recently outside filmmaker
David Dhawan’s house. However, neither the actor nor his family have confirmed
the alleged relationship.
Meanwhile, Salman is currently busy with his upcoming movie ‘Sultan’,
the shooting for which is underway in Karjat. He is also hosting the ninth
edition of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.
