sensation Asin will exchange wedding vows with finace Rahul Sharma, co-founder
of Micromax mobile on 23rd January and the wedding card of the
couple is ready to distribute. The first look of the wedding card is unveiled
and it looks formal, elegant and has impressed the guests.
Asin and Rahul’s wedding card is a metal embossed card with
‘Save The Date’ written on it. The card has the name of the bride and the groom
along with their wedding date.
Reportedly, the card has been designed by EDC Designs, who also had designed
cards for Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra’s wedding.
The wedding will take place in New Delhi followed by a grand reception in
Mumbai. It would be a three days affair, mehendi, sangeet. Few years ago, Asin
met Rahul Sharma.
The couple was introduced by Akshay Kumar and later they started to see each
other. On September this year, Rahul went down on his knees and proposed to
Asin with a ‘20 carat solitaire ring’. The ring has initials ‘AR’ inscribed on
it which means Asin and Rahul. It also has personalised message from Rahul
engraved on the ring. The ring reportedly costs a whopping Rs 6 crore.
Asin compares her love story to the plot of ‘Ghajini’. She was introduced to
Rahul Sharma by her co-star Akshay Kumar.
Says a colleague of the actress, “AIW is the first film she did in
three years. Now after its release, she wants to marry and settle down. She’s
madly in love with Rahul Sharma. During the shooting, she never hid it. I don’t
know why she’s hiding it now from the media.”
